Persistence Will It Pay Off?

I often hear the excuse "I don't like MLM's or Network Marketing because lots of people fail at making them work."

When I hear this I tell them that it is not that MLM's or Network Marketing fails to work, it is usually the people involved fail to do the work and stick with it.

Some of the people that I talk to straight out just don't like MLM or do not want to even get involved in a MLM or Network Marketing business because they have heard that there are more people who fail in this industry than those who make big money. And yes the fact is that it is true that a large number fail. But Why? See my response above.

When you get right down to it, lots of people fail at other things as well, like:

SCHOOL events - Only a select few receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

SPORTS - How many players reach world class standard?

COLLEGE - There are some who don't even graduate and those who do fall short of being in the top of their class.

BUSINESS - Statistics prove that a new business has a better chance of failing that it does succeeding, businesses fail everyday.

BANDS, SINGERS, ACTORS, DANCER, etc. - Look at the reality shows on TV like Americas Got Talent, American Idol, Building The Bands, etc. how many try compared to how many make it to the recording studio?

CORPORATE LADDER - If you were to look at any organization, how many individuals have reached the highest level such as CEO in there careers?

POLITICS - Of all that try not very many become the Prime Minister or President of a nation.

AUTHORS - How many aspiring writers who dream of becoming a best selling author never make it?

MOVIE STARS - Of all the actors who audition day after day only a select few actually become box office movie stars.

The list goes on and on and on. So, what’s the big deal about more people failing in MLM, Network Marketing or any other business venture than those who succeed? Absolutely nothing.

Next time when people say, “I don't like MLM's or Network Marketing because lots of people fail to make them work,” enlighten them with this fact of life: The majority of people fail in any given arena of life--more than succeed.

When it comes to failure vs. success, what it boils down to is life is about choices. You choose to work hard or not. You choose to study or skip classes when you’re in school. You choose to practice all day long at the football field or just once in a while. You choose to stay awake all night to do your modeling photo shoot or go to bed early. You choose to stay late at the office to complete your work or just leave at 5:00 p.m. regardless, like most of your co-workers. You continue pursuing your dreams or quit half way.

I think you see where I’m going with this. Those individuals who are highly motivated, hard working, constantly seeking knowledge, and who persevere in getting what they want will ultimately succeed in life. The rest will be watching from the sidelines.
